Dr. Barbiere has worked in clinical practice for more than 25 years across schools, hospitals, and outpatient settings. She holds a Doctorate in Psychology and a Master鈥檚 in Traditional Oriental Medicine, with Diplomate credentials in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Chinese Herbology, and Biomedicine.

Dr. Barbiere鈥檚 work focuses on the connection between chronic pain, emotional stress, nervous system regulation, and the body鈥檚 sense of safety. She helps patients understand how pain can keep the nervous system in a prolonged fight-or-flight state and how psychological and somatic tools can help restore communication between the mind and body.
